Clear Black Night Invitation

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Looky what I got in the mail today! Oh btw, Thea, you got yours in the mail too! It’s in the computer room. I just forgot to hand it to you. Hee. Sisterly love and all.
This Friday will be Clear’s Halloween party and we were instructed to go in our sexy black. That, and it’s some sort of Dance Party (says so in the invite) Hmm… At the very least, it’s free! :”>

I have to save up money for Japan. Because if I don’t get the scholarship for the living expenses blah, I’m basically screwed. Screwed up for real. That’s around 80,000 yen a month. HAHAHA.

Is that CD what I think it is? Another press release?

So who among you are going?

Lol I’m sorry I live in the boondocks.

Yikes! Are you applying for the JASSO scholarship? That’s what I had when I studied in Japan. Even with the scholarship, though, you definitely need to work. It’s not hard to get a job, though– pag natuloy ka, let me know and I’ll send you the contact info of the school that I used to teach English at. :D

(And JC and I are going to the event, yay!)

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 1:30 am

Yes. Applying for the JASSO scholarship. :c Japan is expensive as hell. But I hear I’m gonna enjoy it. I might even try getting my first tattoo there and follow in your footsteps. Tee hee. YOU DID NOT HEAR THAT FROM ME HERE. I will email you for that! :”> Thank you!

OH YAY I GET TO HANG OUT WITH YOU AGAIN c:

Posted by Tiffy at October 30, 2008, 1:34 am

Yeah, but don’t worry! They pay a lot for English teaching, so as long as you get arubaito, you’ll be fine. :D

Haha, have you thought of a design yet?

And yeah, you can practice your Japanese. Hooray! :D See you on Friday! :)

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 1:40 am

What’s arubaito? XD My Japanese sucks to bits. Srzly.

I’m thinking Hello Kitty, but cool B-)
I’m kidding! :/ I haven’t really given it much thought. Maybe I’ll know what I get there!

Practicing my Japanese will have to come next sem. I’m required to take Hapon 12-13. Although I didn’t get it from CRS. Darn CRS.

Posted by Tiffy at October 30, 2008, 1:59 am

Arubaito = part-time job :)

Hahahaha. A hello kitty tattoo would be priceless. You should put it on one of your shoulder blades, para it’s in a cool place but the design is cutesy.

Ah, but you took 10-11 right? That’s all I took before I went there. As long as you you know masu-kei, you’ll be fine. Boo CRS! D:

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 2:08 am

Oops see how sucky my Japanese is? D:

Lol. I gotta put it somewhere the rents can’t see… YET. LOL. I want the simple one. Something like the Hello Kitty this girl used here. Cute, no?

Yeah! I already took 10-11. But according to the OVCAA lady, it’s not enough. Masu-kei? :o

Posted by Tiffy at October 30, 2008, 2:12 am

No link? :o

Haha, that’s also true. When I went there, I had no idea what everyone was saying. When I tried to take the placement test, I was horrified because I couldn’t read any of it.

Masu-kei is Polite form. Like “tabemasu”, as opposed to Dictionary Form which is “taberu”. They teach foreigners polite form first, but when you go there, everyone will be speaking dictionary form. It’s quite annoying, actually. XD

Oh yeah! I forgot the link! Here you go!

xD

You had to take the placement test? Now I’m scared. Where did you stay, btw?

Posted by tiffy at October 30, 2008, 2:24 am

Haha, that’s really interesting! People will have to squint to figure out what it is… you should totally go for it. XD

Yeah, but that may differ from school to school. I was put in Tokyo at Chuo Daigaku. Where did they place you?

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 2:26 am

Hey! I think it’s distinguishable either way, right? XD

Tokyoooooo :”> You must’ve had blown them away with your interview. I got set up in Nagoya. First time they’re sending a student there!

Posted by tiffy at October 30, 2008, 2:34 am

Oh totally. And its always nice to make people think. :)

Haha, hindi naman. I think they just liked me because I was older than most applicants and (a little) more mature. Lol.

But that’s awesome– at least it’ll be cheaper than Tokyo! :D And yay, great view methinks.

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 2:38 am

Not when such people don’t like thinking LOL

Mature? You? How the hell did you end up with Chicky? Heee. Okay. I’m being mean again!

Tokyo sucks for being really expensive. Nagoya is near Kyoto :3
And not that far from Tokyo. I can’t wait!

Posted by tiffy at October 30, 2008, 2:46 am

Hahahaha! He can be mature when he wants to be, I swear. :) And at the very least, opposites do attract? :D

Awesome sauce! I’m sure you’ll have a blast. :3

Posted by Lizz at October 30, 2008, 2:51 am

Yeah I know ;-) But don’t tell him I said so :-O

But you’re good for him, y’know ;D

Posted by tiffy at October 30, 2008, 2:53 am

Ha! I’m mature! Yay.

Posted by joyfulchicken at October 30, 2008, 4:36 am
