Going to the Doctor

Saturday, December 6, 2008

So yesterday, I went to visit the doctor. Since around two weeks ago, I noticed that my big toe got… black. So I was worried–WHY IS MY TOE BLACK. But then school, org and AIMS got in the way–I wasn’t able to have it checked up.

When I finally got it checked, the doctor told me that it was only a hematoma. That I probably jammed it somewhere or maybe someone stepped on it. I told her that I remember being stepped on but that it wasn’t that hard. But then she reminded me that when we have our period, we bleed more, blahblah. So now she thinks that my toe bled, and I didn’t notice cause I was wearing nail polish.

She also told me that it’s not dangerous or anything because if it was, then the pattern would be different. So… YAY me.

Now on to less depressing things.

Since Thea wanted to watch ComeBack by the UP Theater Council, she invited the bunch of us to watch it. So there we were: Don, Pi, Thea, Alex and me!

The first part of the play was about this Juts Train where people got high and all. According to the play, the weed was in the airconditioning, the food, blahblah. It was set in the future–marijuana was legalized and the government is run by a radical youth who believed in change.

Although it seemed like it was to be a political play, it wasn’t! It was just basically a play where people acted high and showed the audience what happens when people are high. Don pointed out that the play would’ve been so much better if everything ended up being a fraud–there really was no marijuana, you’re only as high as you want yourself to be. An excuse for whatever you do.

The second play was based a bit on real life. With “Kris Aquino” and “Aimee Marcos” being reenacted. They were after this sketch of this designer (we dunno who the guy is trying to act as, though). That was pretty funny. Especially when they were talking about ill-gotten wealth and ill-gotten position. Meh.

After the play, we went to CBTL to study. I studied for my Bio exam and everyone else studied their own thing.

Posted by tiffy at December 6, 2008, 5:05 pm

UP should be a high school because its students are high on marijuana all the time!

Meh. Fine, that was weak too.

Stalking Tiffy

Tiffany Chua a student from UP diliman, studying so she can learn how to read your mind. Who loves yellow and orange, and has a blatant love affair with Hello Kitty. Oh! And she also loves wasabi -- which disgust people.

And while she loves the study of Psychology, she's currently an exchange student at Nagoya Gakuin University so that she can learn how to watch Japanese dramas without the subtitles.
