First day blues

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Since silly me woke up at 12 midnight, I was able to sleep again at 4. Now that’s not really good especially if you’re supposed to wake up at 5 for your class at 7.

I ended up being a zombie in my first two classes.

Thank god that my during my third class, we had games. Yay.

So I was really feeling under the weather. I got home at 1, and I was asleep by 1:30 (or was it 2:30).

I was even supposed to get that NBI clearance thing. I asked my mom to wake me up when she got home but then I really wasn’t feeling well so she let me sleep. LOL.

How to get your NBI clearance:

1. Most people get it at the Carriedo Plaza Building.

2. You need two IDs (and your birth certificate (?))

3. Do not get a fixer. The lines are long but it’s easy to get it.

Thank you, Plurk friends!

Carriedo people didn’t ask me anything. I went there, had a bit of cash (115 + 20 + 120 if you want to have the clearance card as well).

What’s the clearance card? :o

Ang mahal naman! Pano pag wala akong pera?

Sabi ng mom ko sa NBI office na talaga ako pumunta eh!

Pwede naman di ba?

@tiffy Yun yung ATM-ish na card para pag magre-renew ka ng NBI clearance in the future , you won’t need your personal copy anymore. Sa NBI Kiosks inside malls pwede nang mag-renew. Just the card and a certain amt and you’re good to go. And it’s OPTIONAL :)

Umm sa Carriedo po yung main NBI Clearance center/office. Prepare Php 20 (entrance ticket–LOL) + 115 (registration) + 2 (for wet wipes for the fingerprinting hehe). 200 na para sure.

This might help:

Hmm… So it’s not true what my mom said about going to NBI sa may UN?

I kept telling her Carriedo tapos sabi niya na kinuha daw niya yung kanya sa UN?

Well, you can try because I’ve never been there. (Sa Taft Ave ba yung main office kasi ito yung nasa website eh–di ko kasi kabisado ang Manila eh). I dunno kung meron sa UN kasi I only followed what my parents/officemates told me. Pero kung sasakay ka ng LRT, might as well dumeretso ka na lang ng Carriedo because this is their main office for NBI Clearances po. Plus, mabilis ang processing dun.

Okay! Will do. I have my passport, an ID, and a xerox of my birth certificate. Hopefully, okay na yun :D Thank you so much!
