So last night, Urban Time introduced its new brand ambassadors.

I actually didn’t know that there was a search for the Urban Time Icon.

Winners were:

Miki Hahn from La Salle College International

Rachel Rustia from UA&P

Stephanie Sol from UA&P

Portia Silva from Ateneo

Anna Monica Villaverde from Trinity University of Asia.

All of the brand ambassadors were very pretty! :>

I’m especially taken with how pretty Miki Hahn is!

And I really liked the way Portia Silva carried herself — very perky girl, that one!

According to the host, a lot of girls were nominated from different schools — including UP — although I do wonder how the nominations went cause from what I saw from the AVP, I felt like there are girls who can better represent our school!

And in addition, we were pretty tempted to buy new watches — their new line was kinda cute :>

Too bad they didn’t have any Hello Kitty though :c

Exchange Student’s Orientation

Eep. I didn’t go online yesterday cause I had I got home late and I didn’t want to go online so I slept it off.

Anyway, we had the orientation yesterday! So a bunch of students who came back from Japan met with the three of us who were on our way to Japan.

I’m the first one going — my flight is on Monday. Szusza is next — she leaves on Tuesday. And then Abby is leaving on April 1.

And the best part? They treated us to lunch! At KFC :>

Basically, we were told about how we’re going to be UP representatives in Japan and how we’re supposed to be ambassadors of good will, and so on. And then a lot more chitchat with the ones who came back — about how we’re supposed to shop at 8pm cause the price of goods go less at night.

And then they were talking about the Akihabara massacre that happened last year. And then Chris, the guy from Tokyo, also told us about how his classmate was stabbed while walking the streets of Tokyo. And then how one of the professors in his university got stabbed in the school’s comfort room. The guy who found the professor is also an exchange student (I forgot from where) — and that the stabber hasn’t been found.

So yeah. I (worrywart that is me) asked Chris why these things happened. And then he explained that sex and violence in Tokyo is kinda high. And then told me not to worry since I’m going to be Nagoya and it’s not as blah as Tokyo.

Teeheeeeeeeeee.

I can’t wait to gooooooo.

I’m so excited and scared — it’s gonna be fun! :D

Bye, fish.

Our fish died. Before that, he was twirling in his nose.

Trying to make a summersault, I’m assuming!

Fishes need to swim in bigger seas.

It’s a flowerhorn.
