So last Sunday, I tried for the first time to do a bit of private tutoring. I created a profile over at http://findstudents.net/ and then met with my first student. He’s 35 years old and he’s into Internet Marketing (coincidence?). He just wanted someone to practice English with, which is why he “hired” me. Anyway, that was 500 yen for the first hour (trial), and then 1,500 for the next hour. So I earned 2,000 yen that day. 

And he didn’t want the usual textbook learning. He wanted to walk around and then talk. Well, yeah — it felt a bit like a date but I needz them moolah to supplement my eating. Nomnomnom.
