Well, first of all, I didn’t know that today was mother’s day. But, you can’t go, “You forgot (blahblah)” because:
1. Mother’s day isn’t really a set date that happens every year — it’s either you know it or you don’t.
2. I don’t really keep the dates in mind. I usually just check the date so I know when to return the books that I borrowed.
That being said, whenever I skype with my family, the first thing that they scrutinize is my face.
Now, I’m not being modest when I tell you that I don’t think I’m attractive. But when people criticize you when you’re tired and you don’t really have time for that, it might sort of tick you off.
Meh.
Highlights of today would be buying those novels in Japanese, and then getting 3,000 yen worth of gift certificates from my student (in addition to the 2,000 yen that he paid me for today’s lesson) because he felt guilty that he was late for our class (like… nearly an hour late).
AWESOME.
Haha I’m forgetful too especially about these dates so the newspapers are a must read! Haha also don’t like being scrutinized when in a BAD mood. Gosh… sucks. hehe
Soo luckky with being able to get paid there and teach! haha cool!
Anne: I’m really far from down to earth — I’m just errr… insecure (?) like that.
I should tell my mom that! Hallmark holiday! Meh!
I’ve been trying to save up! So no money, really :c Kinda sad when I think about it! So I just don’t XD
TiffK: See?!? Figures I wouldn’t know! :c Ooooh! I don’t teach seriously! They just want me to talk to them in English! XD

Ehhh, most people think they’re not that attractive, which is better than thinking you’re the most beautiful person in the world. Hahaha. Down to earth is better than being a douchebag
They call Mother’s Day a Hallmark holiday kasi it’s not a real holiday though. It’s just an invented one so people go out and buy lots of stuff. Hahaha.
Hope you’re feeling better. At least you got some money and bought some stuff. Shopping is always a good stress reliever, I think.
