We had an earthquake here at around 5 in the morning. Magnitude was 4, I heard. It was 6.6 in Shizuoka. Anyway, I was supposed to meet with Arvi and Jeremy at 8:30 at Kanayama Station cause he’s going back to Canada. I got there at 8:20 and they got to the station at 9:20. Pfft. So I left Kanayama Station at around 9:21 to meet with Kenji at around 9:30. I got there at around 9:40. (The Japanese are particular about their time, trust me.)
I got to try out glass blowing. I tried it out with Kenji and his family (except Reiko and Yuuka — Yuuka got scared). Making a cup costs ¥3,200. Nyaa. And then we had lunch at the Sakae TV Tower. A ¥3,000 lunch set. Nyaaaa. I feel so indebted to them. Although I did tell him that I would show them around if they ever come to the Philippines.
And then I went to my interview. This interview was so much better than yesterday’s. I was 30 min early for this interview and the guy who interviewed me was the same age as I. And he was perpetually smiling. I liked the interview. He seemed really nice! Although he told me that I have to wait until Sunday to find out if I’m going to get hired.
