Thank god for Takeshi for coming to my English conversation class. Otherwise, no one would’ve showed up. And then we all got to hanging out at the smoking area beside the dorms. My hands hurt playing this rock-paper-scissor hand-slapping game with Shoji. Di paawat kahit babae. Ang sakit tuloy ng kamay ko!
Tamang tama nagkayayaan kumain sa McDo — cause today’s a holiday. Some kind of thank-you-for-working-here holiday? That’s how a Japanese explained it to me. So I’m guessing that that’s either the case or he had bad English.
Went to the arcade after where we watched Sensei (he’s not really a teacher, everyone just calls him sensei) be all awesome playing those UFO catcher games. I now have a new stuffed toy thing hanging from my bag. That, a small bottle of cheap perfume, chocolates, and new purikura pictures!

So yesterday, I went up to these group of people who were by the piano. They had a poster up that said something about an Open Mic session so I asked about it. Long story short, I’ll be singing in the first floor of my school next week Friday at lunch :s I’m kind of nervous but I hope I can make it.
And today I had choir practice and this girl and I will be singing three songs during a Christmas celebration thing at the chapel. I miss singing! Hee. And I went up to the teacher to ask if she can help me practice the 2 songs I’m going to sing: Part of Your World (from Little Mermaid) and All I Want for Christmas is You (the Mariah Carey one but I’m not sure if I can actually sing this as well as she).
I was thinking that this might be the saddest Christmas ever. For one thing, I’m not with my family. I will miss dinners with champagne and nonstop chocolate eating marathons. I will miss horrible MMFF movies.
Second, Tana will be leaving before Christmas (and she’s my bestfriend here!) and then Rich will be going home for the holidays too (and he’s my best guy friend here). Hrr. I will be bawling my eyes out during Christmas.
I had to work today. It’s been so cold lately. Around 9 degrees Celcius.
Oh. I let my students earlier watch a Friends video clip. The Ikea one. Look it up.

I played catch ball with a bunch of Japanese guy and a girl. It was fun. I thought I would be able to join in the game but maybe next time, eh. At least I got to move around and bask in the sun!
I don’t know why but I feel like my boss is giving me less shifts. But I don’t think that it’s only me. Thapa asked the boss why she has less shifts than before and she wouldn’t have enough money for her tuition fee. He told her that she has her other job and all. But from what I heard, she doesn’t work a lot at that job.
I got my salary the other day — ¥44,750! Huzzah.
Now to stop myself from spending it. These days, I buy food. I’d make some but time x effort. I’d rather work harder, don’t you think?
Earlier today, Krystal and I gave this presentation on the Philippines. Sucky. Pft.
